In April 2016, we made a significant investment of £150,000 in CNC technology by acquiring a state-of-the-art CNC Vertical Saw. Although this purchase was unplanned, the opportunity to secure this exceptional German-built machine was too good to pass up.
Believed to be the only model currently operating in the UK, this advanced CNC Vertical Saw has revolutionised the conversion of foam sheet raw materials. Standing at an impressive 14 metres in length, the machine offers a substantial maximum working area of 1550mm x 3300mm, allowing us to process large foam sheets easily.

Equipped with a rapid cutting speed of 80 metres per minute and a Twist Knife Angle of +/- 270°, this CNC Vertical Saw enables us to produce complex shapes and acute angles with remarkable precision and efficiency.

This investment, paired with new CAD design software, has significantly increased our productivity and improved operational efficiency. The advanced automation capabilities have reduced the need for manual tooling, leading to lower production costs for our customers and minimised process waste.
