If your business needs high-performance, single-trip packaging, Stratocell foam is cost-effective, versatile, and provides exceptional protection.
Stratocell foam is a closed-cell low-density polyethylene (LDPE) foam. Its low cost makes it ideal for single-trip packaging applications. Stratocell packaging foam provides excellent cushioning protection, being more effective than single-drop polystyrene or corrugated cardboard fittings. It is popular for shipping high-value, fragile items such as consumer electronics.
At Suttons Performance Packaging, we are one of the largest Stratocell foam suppliers and converters of Sealed Air products in the UK. Our design knowledge and foam conversion capabilities have led to joint initiatives in which we have delivered maximum protection with minimal materials.
By using Stratocell packaging foam, you benefit from:

Stratocell foam is lightweight, non-abrasive, and water-resistant closed-cell packaging foam. Its properties and performance make it ideal for use as foam end caps, for foam-lined boxes, and for creating bespoke foam inserts for boxes.
Stratocell is a high-quality, closed-cell, non-cross-linked foam manufactured by Sealed Air. It is composed of low-density polyethylene (LDPE) material and is suitable for high-performance, durable packaging applications.
The cushioning performance of Stratocell allows experienced designers to create foam packaging that maintains optimum protection while using the minimum amount of material. While Stratocell is suitable for reuse over multiple journeys, its low cost also makes it suitable for single-trip packaging applications.
While Stratocell is recyclable, it is not currently accepted in UK kerbside recycling programs. It is possible to recycle it at specialist facilities, including several foam converters. It is also reusable and available in a recycled grade (Stratocell R) containing at least 65% recycled material.

As Sealed Air-approved partners, we have developed extensive knowledge of Stratocell foam material. This knowledge, our design team, and conversion equipment provide you with various benefits.
