Bringing CNC routing in-house
In late 2015, we brought CNC routing capabilities in-house after many years of outsourcing foam component machining to external suppliers. This marked a significant step in expanding our manufacturing capabilities and enhancing our product offerings.
With great excitement, March 2016 saw the arrival of our brand-new £60k Twin Head Double Axis CNC Routing Machine from Germany. This advanced machine features an integral vacuum bed system and can produce precision foam components up to a maximum size of 600mm x 800mm.
Expanding our capabilities
While we have always possessed design expertise and foam material knowledge, we had previously chosen to focus on our core foam fabrication business. However, with the increasing availability of new foam materials in the market, we felt the time was right to expand our capabilities and take complete control of the manufacturing process.
